PROJECT PARTICIPATION
Every couple will be documented by name and with photos and video. The web portion will be maintained until at lest 2012, and we hope to compile enough assets to create a book of the project. Since we will be photographing and videotaping participants and the wedding, we must ask that a waiver be signed before the event. A PDF of the waiver can be downloaded here.

The ceremony itself can be as long or short as you'd like it to be. The basic ceremony consists of:
• A brief interview beforehand, consisting of your thoughts on marriage, which will be documented on video
• A few words by Rev. Joseph
• Exchange of vows. These can be standard or personalized by writing your own

The suggested offering for the service is $150, except where it is restricted by law.

After the ceremony each couple will receive a wedding certificate and a photograph to commemorate the event.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE BEFORE THE WEDDING
1. If you agree to participate in the project—firstly, THANK YOU, secondly, you must obtain a valid marriage license from the state in which you will be married. Also due to some state/local restrictions each wedding request will have to be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

A list of your state online regulations can be found in the sidebar (left).

2. Couples must bring valid drivers license or state ID (as a form of picture identification).

3. Couples must also bring a witness to sign the wedding license and certificate. Hopefully you will bring lots of friends to the event, but if it is intimate or impromtu, there must be at least one other person besides the couple getting married.

SCHEDULING YOUR WEDDING
We have pre-planned dates and route and it is important to set a time when we will be in your general area or region. We suggest you check our route page then contact us via email. We will follow up with you regarding the type of ceremony, where to meet, or any other questions.

A $50 retainer is required to reserve a date for your event. Since we will be on the road without a fixed mailing address we can accept payment through PayPal.

CEREMONY LOCATION
The event can take place in a reception hall, church or private residences, beaches, or outdoors. Additionaly amusement parks or historical locations would make the project interesting.

REVEREND JOSEPH'S QUALIFICATIONS
After several years of bible and religious study, Rev. Joseph became an ordained minister in 1994. He performed his first wedding in 2002. Rev. Joseph is in good standing with a legally recognized church.
